Well, I got my act together and last year made the honour roll taking all AP physics, chemistry, biology, math, history, english, and art.
If I can change my attitude, you absolutely can too.
Seriously, please don’t drop out!
heres something i found over the internet about being an ACTRESS
“Even if you’re talented and you do everything right, your odds of success are infinitely small. And there are some things that people do wrong when pursuing an acting career, when people decide that this is what they want to do they usually go hop in a plane go straight to Las Vegas or California…that’s not right…”
“Whether you take classes at a local college or acting school, or study one-on-one with a coach, you’ll need to learn the basics: voice and movement; working with a script; warm-up exercises; acting for stage versus acting for camera; and so forth. Learn basic stage combat and dance, as well as a few accents. A driver’s license is surprisingly helpful. Get yourself in shape. Acting on stage and film is physically demanding, so start a workout regime. Next, read books. Literally hundreds discuss either acting techniques or the business of acting.”
“Lastly, save money. Most actors, at some point, move to a city like New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago, where many jobs are available. However, big-city living is expensive; save several thousand dollars before making the trip. Even if you stay near home, you’ll need money to travel to auditions, take classes, and so forth. .”
you wont become an actress within a SNAP
A lot of stuff I learned in high school I thought I would never use and it is shocking to learn the things you do use in everyday life.
Your parents love you and I bet they want you to talk to them… go to them tell them how you are feeling and they can help you find a different school… maybe one that offers technical programs were you can get a start at baking and decorating cakes, or even acting.
I believe in most states you have to be 16 to drop out and get a GED. There is nothing wrong with getting a GED if that is what you really want but you should have a high school diploma in some way shape of form.
try switching the classes you are taking. you want to make wedding cakes then sign up for a cooking class in school. you want to be an actress then join the acting club at school. if you aren’t acting in school or in any other area, you probably won’t make a career out of it. that’s life. you are only 15, you don’t know what you need. you don’t know what you want. unfortunately when you are 15 you think you have all the answers. you don’t.
life is tough, high school is easy compared to the rest of it. don’t worry about having social anxiety. every 15 year old has some form of it. some just hide it better than others.
STAY IN SCHOOL.
you will surely regret it if you don’t. trust me.
u might think school is useless now. but if u continue you will realize its value.
