Working is part of life and it should be treated as such. Take it from someone who worked all the way through school and started paying Social Security early ( that is another question about Taxes). Work like everything else is all moderation. Now the whole Idea of school is to learn: People, Social Skill, Knowledge: And anything else you can get when you paid for it:

You will work after school: TRUST ME

As for your question: My schedule working when I was young: On Sat morning it is no big deal Pushing Baskets at the local wal-mart’s. What are you going to miss that early: Sleep?

If they are a junior or senior is high school than yes. 15 hours a week would mean they are working 3 hours a day after school and not working on the weekends at all. Is 3 hours a day even working?
