Do U Like Science? 1st grd thru H. S.: How many Science classes did U take in school? Wht Grd R U in now?
How many Science classes did you take in school?
What grade are you in now?
Did the class include lots of hands-on activities?
Did you get to design or build something?
In my state science is only required for 5th, 8th, and 10th grades. Most schools do not do hands-on activites, almost no design and, even less creative applied-theory projects.
I’m trying to figure out what to do; if we have to keep hiring people from outside the US? Maybe, we should relocate the company to another Country? After all it is a world market place we sell to.

Science is a mandatory subject for all grades from 1st through 10th in my school(or rather my education board).
Till 5th grade, its considered only as science. Then, we have physics, chemistry and biology. We don’t have a lot of hands on activities. There are opportunities given to build/design something..but I havn’t done any of that for the lack of my interest.
im in 11th grade now. in chemistry we barely did any labs. thats because its all calculations and we are not allowed to work with radioactive chemicals anymore. its all gonna be notes in bio and work in chem, but when you get to college, im sure youll get to do 3 hour labs and write up like 50 page lab reports in college.
in california.
in my school science was mandatory till middle school 1 class per year.
as for high school, bio for 9th grade. chem and physics for 10th grade. AP chem and AP physics for 11th grade. i’m currently in 11th grade. for bio and chem, it was all labs and stuff. and for physics we got to make bridges and egg catcher from tooth picks. it was kinda fun, until your hard work just failed. haha
