DO i have to go to high school?
hi im going to be a freshman in highschool in 2 weeks and ive always had a prob. with school. i have so much stress. i cant do sports anymore cause i always feel like im not going to be able to get my homework done and then ill get yelled at in class. i am also very mature for my age so i dont like fooling around like other kids i find it stupid hitting eachother for fun. in 3rd grade i had to go through serious phyciatric help cause i was telling my family i wanted to kill myself because of school at that young of an age and after awhile those feelings went away. but now there all coming back again. and im thinking about droping out but i dont wanna not be able to have a job when i am older and my mom said she wont homeschool me. can someone please help me =(

Even though your mom won’t homeschool you, there are several “virtual schools”. They are literally online schools, where you complete work applicable to your state and grade level, and there are certified teachers available to help you.
At the end of the school year, you have to take a test that your county/state board administers to every homeschooled child to make sure you know what your general grade level knows.

First of all, you need to talk to some professional about your feelings. Try the counselor at school. You have feelings that need to be dealt with. If you drop out, what will you do? Stay in school, get that education, and become a contributing adult. You may have to care for your Mom in later years.

Have you thought about just trying to take the GED test? If you pass, you can probably start taking college courses at a community college. Even though you don’t like school, college tends to be very different.

Senior High university is the specified identical factor as High university, simply yet another title. Like in my the city we’ve got Austin Senior prime (prime university) and Austin junior prime (center university).
