This year, the legislature at the State of Texas mandated that all public secondary schools begin on August 27Th. After this year, all schools will begin after Labor Day.

They were forced to do this because each year, various school districts were starting earlier and earlier – to get an edge on other districts regarding academic performance. THis was costing the state exhorbitant amounts in cooling costs – in Texas, August is the hottest month of the year. The auditors determined that if schools were not in session in August, the cost savings would be significant.

So….everyone starts and ends at the same time for once in Texas.

Mine starts on the 29 of June. I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Oh. and ends on some where in June. Kindergarden is all day now. It wasn’t about 7 years ago though.

I don’t know about the Kindergarten, but I know what you mean, It used to be in September! right now, school starts today (8/21) for 7-9th graders kids and tomorrow (8/22) for Elementary and 10-12th graders. Utah

good it will not be as exiting as New York City or LA however i lived in Columbia SC and the housing there are giant for an overly low-priced rate. in reality SC has the maximum fee of hispanic immigrants than another state. how that occurred i dont recognize. however yah, the towns are developing relatively rapid, suburbs are stoning up relatively speedily. there are plenty of jobs in the market dispite the unemployment fee. should you desire to visit university there may be midlands tech and USC. they simply beat alabama. im now not definite if its probably the most tolerant position but it surely doesnt appear to have stopped plenty of individuals. simply dont be shock should you fine 200sqaure toes condominium simply occurs to be in a ghetto field. thats kinda the the pay again for low-priced housing. any individual would have enough money it lol. well success

Here in oregon on the coast school starts sep.5th and there is half day for kindergartens im not share when school gets out. some time in june. this year is my daughters goes to kindergarten. we are happy. she cant wait

I’m outside of Albany, NY and school starts on 9/6. I think that kindergarten is all day here.

It starts on september 5th and ends like june 7th. They have all day kindergarten, i didn’t known non-all day kindergarden existed! lol

School here starts tomorrow!!!!!! In Colorado. We do not yet have all day kindergarden but Ukiah, California does. And preschool starts Sept. 4th. YEAH!!!!!!!
