Your school district makes the rules about whether they will permit local home-schooled students to take (or audit) public school classes or participate in its extracurricular activities like clubs, sports, etc. I imagine some allow it, some allow it but charge for it, some don’t allow it under any circumstances, and some allow it under certain circumstances.
You’ll get meaningful answers by asking at the right place, in this case the district office rather than here.
I can only assume that home-schooling isn’t fulfilling your needs completely. It might be time to consider switching to a system that can.

I think its best if you choose. Like I went to homeschool half a year and public school the other half. Honestly, the public school half thing was a waste but I did make friends for high school this year (I just hope they forgive me for leaving them) Its best if you just do one thing whole-heartedly then doing two or more things half-heartedly. Have a Good Year 🙂
