You don’t need $$ for a collage…You can get free pictures from magazines!…If you mean college….get a job, check with guidance counselors about scholarships, consider local community colleges for the first 2 years, then transfer, contact the schools you are interested in to find out about their financial aid packages….there are lots of options…..I am a firm believer that anyone who really wants to go to school should be able to. Good luck!

Raising money for school is a great idea! Those who mentioned scholarships, grants, and loans are right. If you are a good student you should be able to get all of those. At the very least, you should be able to get a pell grant and student loans. Thanks to them, it is currently costing me nothing to go to college. But I dread repayment.

You are 15. Soon you will be able to get a job 🙂 Just make sure that you don’t let it interfere with your grades and that you still have some time for fun. (Something that I didn’t realize the importance of until I was 19.)

Since you are a good student, you may want to consider tutoring. The pay won’t be great, but it will be something. Talk to your old middle school teachers in subjects that you were good at. They may be able to send a little business your way. There are also jobs such as babysitting, mowing yards, helping paint houses, etc…

Don’t forget to ask your parents to help you open up a savings account if you don’t already have one. From what I have seen, online savings appear to have better interest rates than regular banks. I also saw something at ShareBuilder.com before about special accounts to prepay for college tuition.

Well, first off, spell college correctly! This is a difficult situation, but the best way is not to stick to one method, but get diversity in your plan. For instance, get a job bagging groceries at the local store, do intensive research on Scholarship opportunities at the colleges you want to apply too, and also the outside scholarship options available. Check out Rotary and Lions Clubs, various competitions (like for music, art, and sports) and continue to make honors. Also, work on your writing skills for that ever present essay! Once you get a scholarship, you can possibly take out a loan to pay off the rest, and continue to work summers, and part time during school. I do know that the Peace Corp help with loans if you volunteer after college, and that looks very ood on your resume! The best of luck to you!

You should try to learn to spell better first. *Collage* is spelled college. If you are on the honor roll, continue to make good grades in high school and you could get good scholarships so you will have to pay less for college, if not at all.

if you mean “collage” then cut pictures from magazines, newspaper or old books

but if you are talking about college, then do some work and save some money. or you can try for scholarship. but dont try for student loans if you cant pay it back. you might just end up paying your dues for half of your life

first of all, how immature is it for everyone to be so concerned with spelling?

second of all, you should wait at least 2 or 3 years before going to college after high school, go travel seriously and see the world, save up and go to europe or asia, hitchhike the US, explore your inside world via the outside world, find your heart. live life not as a series of steps toward your ultimate career: 10th grade, 11th grade, 12th, college, intro into career, climbing way up “ladder”, then all of a sudden you’re in your 40’s bein all pretentious and condescending about something as arbitrary as spelling, then you’re old.

adventure first!! do it while you’re young! it’ll put a different flavor to the rest of your life, and sweet chapters into your sweet story

You should worry about learning to spell first. If you’re poor you can qualify for grants or scholarships.
