I would start by checking with local nursing homes to see if they will train you for free. Some places will train you, pay for your testing and get you certified in exchange for you agreeing to work for them for a period of time. Community colleges sometimes have courses, the one near me does, and I’ve heard that the Red Cross will train you too. I don’t have specific info on classes in your area though..
