Can i use one of my close friend’s address to go to a specific high school?

Would it be wrong if i could stay with that certain friend and go to his high school along with many of my friends that attend that high school, if i told the district his dad (my friend) would be my gaurdian for that year without any probllems?

I guess it’s possible . . . but why would you want to go to a certain high school so bad? hm . well , anyways , unless you have a reason to be staying with your friend your not “suppost” to do it , but , its up to you I suppose . Too risky for me though:P

For you to register at a different school you will need proof that your legal gaurdian resides there. Either a lease in your parent’s name, or if living with a friend, a legal document making them your gaurdian along with a copy of thier lease or mortgage. Many districts will allow you to attend a different school than the one you are assigned to if there is room and your parents can provide transportation to and from (you can’t use the school buses). Your parents would need to contact the school you are interested in and see if they have this option available.

i know someone who wanted to go to an out of district high school and they got a mailbox address in that district and had some stuff sent there and told the school that was where they lived and they let him go there, even though there wasnt even a house there. but as for you i think its worth a try to tell them u live with your friend. i mean the worst they could do is find out you technically dont. i dont think it would be wrong, really.
