Can a highschool dropout come back to school?

Im 18 and dropedout of school when i was 16…. I want to go back but don’t know if i am allowed to??? and if i am how does it work do i continue where i left off?

YES! Of course you’re allowed to go back to school!! And good for you for wanting to go back!!! Basically, in a way, you do just pick up where you left off. If you dropped out before getting your highschool diploma, then, first, you need to get your GED, this way, you can apply to a college and study what interests you. Start going to different colleges and explain your situation to them, they may be able to offer a program where you can get your GED at that school while you’re starting to take college courses.

Another option is, go back to your highschool and find out if they offer nightschool for getting your GED, most highschools offer this, and so, you may be lucky.

it matters on your school district and state. but normally the state has to educate until the age of majority (that why you need to contact your school)
