Have your parent(s) contact the parents of other students of both teachers to see how they have done in the teacher in question class and compare the grades. If there is a huge discrepancy in grades, the parents can go before the school board and find out exactly the type of performance record this teacher has.

Teaching is a very difficult profession. Often students do not pay attention and a very strict teacher will not continue to repeat him/herself. I’ve observed classes where the teacher is extremely competent and expects the students to be prepared when they enter the classroom. I must admit the class was extremely fast paced and if I blinked I missed quite a bit of information! However, bad teachers are harmful to students who lose out on an education.

I called the school and set up an appointment with the academic councelor, then when I went in there we discussed my schedule and she switched me out and told me my new schedule so now I’m good to go.. it’s easy. just say I don’t think I’m ready to handle this class this year. haha good luck 🙂
