Are these fair (and legal) detentions?
At your third detention, you stay after school from 3-5. Then the kids with 3 detentions go on a bus and we go with the principal to the police station. We’re then led in and handcuffed behind our backs. Then we’re led into our own holding cells, then measure out to like 5′ x 5′, which is barely enough to sit it. Keep in mind we are still in handcuffs and in our school uniforms. We stay in there from 5:30 – 9:30. Then we can leave when a parent arrives. We are allowed one bathroom break during the whole thing. People say this should scare us from breaking the rules.
But is this fair, or legal?

I would say that it’s a pretty effective way to make kids follow the rules.
I think it’s pretty funny….
scare you to ever come back AGAIN!
Why don’t you just handcuff me and take me to your room already then!?!
Story isn’t true.
