Am i going to the 10th grade? Highschool?
I am 18 years old, left back two times in the 9th grade but this year i really did my best and my averages were very good, but last marking period i failed one class, and at the bottom of the report card it says i have been “programmed to go to summerschool” i did not go, am i still going into the 10th grade?

look im in highschool and i really wouldn’t tell anyone that you got let back twice in gr. 9 its not that bad

Every high school determines what grade a student goes into by determining how many credits a student has achieved. Your school has a certain number of credits in order to go into the tenth grade. You need to speak to your guidance counselor to determine that number,
Do not worry as much about what grade you are going into. I know that is important to you. The main thing ,however is to obtain a High School diploma. You receive that when you pass a certain number of credits, meet all of your required groupings, and pass your required tests.
Concentrate on passing ALL of your subjects. It is nice that you have turned yourself around and passed most of your subjects last year. I am sorry that you failed one subject and did not go to summer school as requested.
You did well but most do better to receive your diploma.

Yea, but you probably have to take the class you failed again for that school year.

they will let it slide if it was a class that is not a requirement.
but you’ll have to make it up probably.
