if you want to see just one of her many great roles (she won 4 Oscars) I recommend The African Queen because it also stars Humphrey Bogart and it is such a wonderful story

she was named number one “screen legend” of all time over all other actresses by American Film Institute, back in the 90s

number two was Bette Davis and Audrey Hepburn (no relation) third; BTW Bogart was named number one for all actors

Katharine Hepburn famously loved Spencer Tracy for many years; except he would not divorce his real wife

Not much meat on her, but what there is, is cherce.
