People who have computers or mobile phones have more acess to information for work or school. ie research on the internet. Therefore poor people are disadvantaged because they don’t have the technology. Our children used to lose when it came to researching information for homework because we did not have access to computer or internet. Getting a job is harder if you don’t have computer experience, etc.
But then you have the reverse problem where people at checkouts can’t add things up or give back the right change when the power goes off cause they’re used to pressing buttons on their computerised till. What about kids that don’t know how to address a letter (snail mail) because they all use emails.
