You do it by clearing the 4x and the 10y from the equation. You do that by adding the opposite to the other side of the equation – eg 10yz= -4x
yx= -4x/10
Then divide both sides of the equation by y and you are left with z.

I think you got the answer on the other question you asked – move the stuff that isn’t z to the other side, do a divide to get rid of the 10y. Once you’ve figured out the principle it’s all pretty straightforward…

Yea…i got the same question and its killing me! i wish someone would email me with the answer I been searching alll day and none seems to get that we are looking for a number answer. Or maybe im jus to slow to get the hints they keep dropping..Bits and pieces remember being back in middle school though. You have to sunstitute something for 0 in there somewhere.
