You don’t have to explain ANY reason why you are getting a new address. It’s not important. People do it all the time.

I WOULD, however, suggest writing it FROM your new address. Many people, myself included, add a new e-mail addy by clicking on the box at the top!

If you want to write it from your new adress, do it like this:

Dear________,

Its me,____. This is my new email adress,a nd I just think it is wonderful hearing from you, so if you wouldnt mind could you write to me to this email adress? Thanks so very much and keep in touch!
