In all honesty, I hate Junior High(8th Grade)…?

Please Read over:

…I hate all the head games, the gossip, the drama, etc…at my school I’m “smart-girl”-nothing I can do to shed the name -however that’s what I do love about school, the education I’m getting from it, but frankly I’ve been loosing focus in my classes & “day-dreaming”, not about the guy sitting next to me, but about my future & everything that is going on in my life right now (that’s causing me way too much stress); it’s been happening so much(app. 1/4 worth of time in ea. class)that I feel I am loosing that academic value. At first I thought that my classes may be to easy & boring, but there’s nothing I can do about that b/c I am already in the highest classes possible; should I talk to my guidance couselor, if not, what should I do? Please give me all the advice you can give me, Thanks!

yes, talk to the councelor PLEASE and try get your focus back. I am and have never been considered a “smart” person. Hated school pretty much all the time, had other things more important to concentrate on, boys, drugs, smoking, drinking, music, fighting (yes a couple of fist fights in jr. high)…what else anything else.

Please if you love learning, school all that don’t let any thing come between you and that………oh my God NO! This is begining of your future, and it sounds to me like your going to have a wonderful one. Don’t worry, I think the kids will start coming around and less likely to be so “stupid” acting just because your “smart”. But please go talk to someone that can get you back on track, and if you don’t like what they say try someone else.

Yes, speak to your guidance counselor.

You are going through a stage that many boys and girls your age go through.

What is the nature of the stress that you are experiencing.

Try to focus on the work in class and on doing your homework

Think about how proud you and your parents will be when you are successful in school.

If you don’t want to talk to your guidance counselor , Talk to your parents. Your guidance counselor should not be allowed to tell your mom what’s going on . {That’s just between you and them} Other than that I’m not a proffesional at this kind of stuff. Good luck in finding the answer your looking for.

Can you be moved up a grade level? Since you already know a lot of the material, maybe you could be an in-school tutor. I’m sure there are ways you can use your abilities both to ease the boredom and help others. Definitely, speak to your counselor.
