Would it be smart to get my GED?

I am 15-years old in the 10th grade. Would it be smart to get my GED and got to UTI, to study being an Auto Tech

Stay in school, many areas will not allow a person to take the GED testing until they are 18 anyway, just think how much further you will be ahead if you stick with it until then.

It would be a better idea to get your High School Diploma, we used to call the GED the “Good Enough Degree.” And that’s exactly what it is. But some places will not let you get the same job you could with a diploma. Also, if you would like to go to college, it may look better having a diploma. My boyfriend got his GED and attended community college for 2 years and then transferred over to a university and graduated with his bachelors degree. You can do things with a GED, it’s just smarter to finish high school. (:
