will the creative part of me die when I become an engineer?

all that math instead of creative stuff, like writing, drawing, and learning about things to write, or make films out of?

of course not.

anything will die if you stop feeding it. keep on writing and learning in your free time.

your career doesn’t have to be 100% who you are.

What’s good?
I am an optician and I can almost always call out who an engineer is…they make my day miserable…an adjustment is never right, and the prescription is never right, either. An engineer will never come in and be satisfied. No offense to any engineers!

I think engineers become way too logical and technical…thus I think the creative gives way to the logical…
