Why does my 9 yr old sister hate books, but when I was like 6 I loved them?Is it normal?
I mean Im 13 now and I remember myself reading the 4th harry potter book in 2nd grade….Ive been reading chapter books ever since I was in kindergarten..But now my 9 year old sister HATES books and shes not really um..smart. I dont mean to insult her but its true. What can I do to get her into books?
PS: Is her behavior normal? By normal i mean like most 9 year olds

You really care for your sister.Don’t worry,it’s not abnormal.it deends on the environment and friends.A person is known by the company he keeps.she would be interested in what is discussed among her friends.
it difficult but you should talk with her much about books.first get her interested in folk tales such as potter and then the interesting books like about the universe and new inventions.
this would develop a like of books in her.

don’t force her; that’ll only make it worse- other than books are other materials she can read; mayb even archie comics?
