Well the only times my friends and I say we hate school is when we’re in the middle of 4 hours of homework [which we got ourselves into for taking AP & Honor classes] but it’s just our temorary way of blaming someone else for our stress.

The only time we’ve ever insulted a teacher is when they are horrible teachers. Not just in our minds but actually HORRIBLE teachers. I’ve had a teacher who would have us read out of a book for how to do stuff and if we had any questions she would say oh you can figure it out if you try hard enough. I personally need a teacher to show me examples so my friends and I did tend to only talk about how horrible of a teacher she was.

Other than that I don’t mind school. Some kids just hate going there and could care less what they want to do in life, I think those are the kids who constantly insult school & teachers.

I hated school for various reasons so I did not go to college. I felt strongly that I had had enough schooling to last me a lifetime by the time I graduated from high school!

In school, I felt there were too many things forced on me that I had no interest in so I didn’t do well in those subjects. (History? Who cares? Why not teach me about what’s going on in the world today so I can better relate? And while you’re at it, teach me useful things like how to write my first resume and how to conduct myself on a job interview. How to open bank accounts and balance a checkbook and live on a budget while saving money and getting credit for the day I wanted to buy a car or whatever. Ya know, useful stuff!)

I also felt my time was being wasted having to do and/or learn things that would have no use in my life as an adult. (dissecting a frog in Biology is a good example)

Then of course I blamed my misery on my teachers who were just doing their job.

My hypothesis is that kids hate school and teachers because they are bored and they have a hated subject. Maybe the teacher is mad at them. Sometimes I hate my Math subject because there are a lot of complex problems. Now, I really like it. Why? I stayed positive that I like math. The kids you hear have not thinking positive. They will like school if they become positive. They need to think that the school and education is the way to their careers. ALWAYS STAY POSITIVE IN EVERYTHING YOU DO WHETHER AT SCHOOL OR AT HOME,

Indeed!!! It all starts with the way the parents speak about the teachers and education. It also stems on how INTERESTING the teachers make learning! Some classes are sooooooo boring…. that it turns the students against it…. Also, some teachers SHOULD NOT BE teachers! My daughter heard one teacher say “I don’t care if you learn anything, I’m still going to get paid”!!! And she was a *&^%$ and a lazy teacher…. She REALLY DID NOT CARE!!!

So, yea… it starts at home, and finishes with the attitude of the teachers themselves.

I think you will find that it is a vocal minority doing this behavior. And I think you will also find that this group is “educationally challenged” so to speak, the ones with learning problems and lower grades, sometimes called underachievers. People who do not do well at a task, ANY task, tend to disparage those that DO well at that same task. This kind of behavior is not only about school, but rather comes from frustration from poor performance. I never hated school. As a matter of fact, I looked forward to going. Learning new things was a pleasure for me. However, I knew a number of people who absolutely hated going and were quite vocal about it and made fun of those of us who were not having their particular problems…

Because they are suppose to follow strict rules and regulations. Children often don’t like to listen to their parents, so imagine the difficulty is must be for them to listen to a complete stranger. Often, also if you are in a group of kids talking about their teacher, then you are going to do it too, you don’t want to look uncool.

its a natural reaction

when there unhappy with the grade- ita teacher fault

when there unhappy that they didnt have their dream school dance – schools fault

they didnt get new unifrom for there sports team – schools fault

*not syaing its right but kids and teenager are goin through stuff n blame there problems and unhappyness on other bu sometimes it really is the school or teacher thats making them unhappy.

heres a funny little fact, they make you fall asleep then wake you up and yell at youxD or some how annoy the hell out of you. Like my us history teacher; he reads to much out of the text book so you start to fall asleep but his shoe squeaks every time he walks and he’s constantly walking. o.o how can you nap with that. especialy in the front row.
