When I enroll in college, do I have to know what I want to study right of the back? Or how does that work?

No. There are general electives that must be taken that will fit into any degree. You can take these and have roughly up to two years to decide what major you want. Talk to the enrollment counsellor to find out specifics for the college you wish to attend. Best of luck to you!!

Nope. You can go to college and declare your major as “undecided.” You would then take the general education courses you HAVE to take, and along the way you can take other elective courses until you decide which way you want to go. Best bet is to make an appointment to see a counselor before you enroll for classes — they’ll help you.

Nope. That’s the beauty of being a college freshman. You can get all your basics out of the way and take some electives until you find something your really into. Dont rush into anything immediately. Feel it out and enjoy yourself. Good Luck.

You don’t have to, but I’d recommend having some idea about what you want to do. I have a couple of worthless general degrees that don’t really help me get ahead. In fact, they help me get behind, because I’m stuck with a ton of student loans!
