When grading something ( A, B, C, B+, etc. what do they convert to number wise?

B – 80 or better
C – 70 or better
D – 60 or better
F – under 60
A=4 pts
B=3 pts
C=2 pts
D=1pts
F=0pts
+ or – grades fall at + or – .5
If you’re talking about individual classes, it really depends on the teacher. Some teachers grade on a bell curve, so the number is arbirtrary to where the class curve falls.
Others grade by percentage, such as:
A=90%
B=80%
C=70%
D=60%
below 60%=F
A=4 pts
B=3 pts
C=2 pts
D=1pts
F=0pts
A 94-96
A- 90-93
B+ 87-89
B 84-86
B- 80-83
etc….
C’s are from 70-79
D’s are from 60-69
and F is below 60
A graduated license is much surer.
92-85 = B
84-76 = C
75 – 70 = D
69 – LOWER = F

F = < 0.5 or A+ = 4.0 A = 3.5 - 3.9 A- 3.0 - 3.4 etc.
