The best way is to study about 15 minutes in each subject everyday, so when the test comes you don’t have to try and cram in hours the night before. A couple days before a test study for a longet period of time, but take breaks they really help.. . . good luck

OK. First you’re going to find out approximately how much time a day you’re going to study. This is going to depend on your total workload. You didn’t say how many credits you were taking, but college’s say you should spend one hour studying each week for every one credit you have. I doubt the average student studies that much, but that gives you an idea of what the straight-A med school students are doing. Just figure out a time, and you can adjust it later if it’s off.

Get a stopwatch to time yourself each day. That might sound dumb, but it will really empower you to work hard. Here’s a free online one:

Plus if you get interrupted from studying, you can stop it until you come back.

Do the same amount of time every day. Give yourself one day off per week. It will be good for your mind. But don’t try to take several days off a week. The whole reason this method works is because of repetition.

It’s good to study at the same time every day, but if an emergency comes up, you can always squeeze it in later. Plus it’s good to know when you want to study, so you’re in a steady mood when it comes time.

Everyone has a different study habit or area that makes their work get done most efficiently. To me it makes sense to study and only study with no distractions around. I usually get alot of work done in the late night hours when everyone else is gone to bed so im not distracted. Also there isnt much on tv late night as well so that helps. And finally its really quite at night which helps me concentrate.

But ive heard of people who like studying with the tv on, music on, while their on the phone and eating all at the same time.

I hardly ever studied in high school. Barely made it out alive. I was sort of forced to get good study habits in college.

Just get started on something, anything, that has to do with the subject at hand. Sometimes once you start it’s hard to stop.

Hopefully your teacher gives you study guides, or at least an idea of WHAT to study.

Here’s some websites that might help:
