How credible/worthwhile are these online courses?
They seem like alot of crap and based on work experience in general. Has anyone actually benefitted from them?

One way to find out is to contact a local community college or university and ask if they accept credit transfers from a particular online school. Or, if you know someone who works in human resources, ask them what the reaction is to a resume that shows these kinds of courses.

Online courses are in general not as well regarded as courses taken in the classroom/laboratory…and with good reason. But if you do want to take such courses then taking them from the Distance Education arm of a real university rather than from an on-line university is by far the better.
