A cover letter is the letter addressed to the person who has offered a job. It is a brief letter that contains: –

1. The Subject (the job title for example)

2. The ad reference or any reference that can trace back in their data base.

3. Brief of your reasons of applying with your interest in the job.

4. Your CV/ Resume becomes the annex to this cover letter.

5. You sign this letter (give it a file/letter number and mention the date) and it becomes the basis of any further correspondence they may like to have with you.
