What’s the best college I can get in to with my mediocre scores?

Well, though I am a conscientious student, my gardes aren’t where they should be. I had a 93 average in freshman year and only an 87 average this past sophomore year. I will try to aim higher next year and get a 98 average. I got a 3 on my ap world history exam. scored an 85 percentile on the PSAT ( Ill do better next year!). Im the leader of my school band, have worked in a printing company and a dentist’s office. National Honor Society. Arista, was in the Borough wide band, National Vocabulary Championship participant, volunteered at a hospital and senior citizen center.

Im hoping to get into Stanford, which is my dream school, and I know its aiming pretty high considering my terrible grades and minimal extra curricular activities. whats the best college do you think I can get into if I improve in junior year. is it too late?! ohmy. and what can I do to up my chances at getting into a prestigious college? thank you!

okay as far as what the first person said, that’s false. colleges won’t risk ruining their reputation for kids who can pay for their tuition. colleges would rather give full rides to AWESOME well rounded students

as far as you, tak ethe SAT before you try to figure out what colleges you can get into. you may not get into an ivy league like stanford – but i’m sure you can still make sme prestigious private schools.

I don’t believe it’s too late, just keep studying and getting good grades. If Standford, Harvard, Brown or any other Ivy League has a summer program for research or anything academic-related, I’d suggest attending it, doing your best and networking with faculty related to your field of study as often as possible.

yeah, that replaced into my purpose too (not stanford nonetheless, i needed to pass to paintings college) it is not getting into thats the not basic area, it rather is procuring it. i’ve got been given a least partial scholarships to each college i utilized to, yet out of state training is a *****! to boot, its not necessary which college you opt for for on your undergrad, yet grad college is unquestionably significant. in case you intend on going to grad college, i might purely pass to an in-state college, it won’t make a distinction contained in the long-term, i swear.
