What is the equation of the range of any projectile when only initial velocity & the angle are given?
thanks.

The range (x) would be the distance that the projectile travels from the point of origin. If v is the initial velocity and @ is the angle, then
x = 2 times the velocity v times the cosine (cos on your calculator) of the angle @. Why? At the midpoint, where the projectile reaches its maximum height, the velocity becomes 0 and the projectile starts its downward travel. Check your physics textbook, you will definitely find it there. I am only recalling the formula from my memory of my high school and college physics.

nicely shall we see….. you do no longer ought to locate the genuinely fee of time for this, specific vx and vy are cos?v and sin?v respectfully. horizontally time = vertically time t = dx/vx t = 2vy/g ( it is dervied from dy = vt + a million/2gt^2) dx/vx = 2vy/g pass multiply dxg = vx2vy (notice dx skill distance alongside x axis, no longer d cases g) Sub in for vx and vy dxg = cos?v x 2sin?v remedy for ?. wish this permits. Edit: The angles I have been given become 28 levels and sixty two levels, are you able to confirm?
