If you and and a close relative/friend are stuck on a desolate snowy mountain with no way up and no way down. Your close friend dies before you, would you devour their flesh in order to live?

No, I wouldn’t know how or where to begin to bite a chunk of flesh?! That is some kind of Fear Factor stuff!! I’d probably die from being too grossed out just thinking about it or I’ll just bury myself in the snow like a shallow grave and die with some kind of dignity.My body will be preserved in the snow and somebody might find me a century later.Then maybe display my mummified corpse in a museum.I’ll be famous.Woohoo?!?

No, it will only prolong the inevitable death. You stated that ther is no way up and no way down, so you may as well die today instead of next week. It will save undue suffering and the creepiness of being a cannibal.
