So what to do to get into a good school??? You know that question is rather difficult because every school has its own criteria so I would advise you to look at Brown and see the type of students they admit. Now dont be discouraged if ur grades or SATs are not up to par because there are many other things you can do to make urself look good to the admissions board. So get involved!!! Most def keep up ur grades and challenge urself with AP and honors courses but also get involved with school, community service, and or sports. Colleges love students who are well rounded and did not spend their whole time hitting the books. As far as your personal statement def have someone look it over, maybe your English teacher. The personal statement is vital to ur admission because it is the only thing that is not numerical…this is ur spot to shine and sell yourself to the university. well hope this helps. Good luck!
