We want a great commencement speaker at our graduation…?
I have the information to contact Maya Angelou and would LOVE to have her speak. What would be some key things to say in my letter to her to really grab her attention and make her want to come speak with us?
Any other suggestions of great and interesting speakers who may actually come and talk?

Neal Degrasse Tyson: he is a astrophysicist with a wicked sense of humor (he’s a Ph.D., too). He is a very inspiring person, and would entertain your audience at the same time.
Note: He’s been on the Daily show a couple of times as well as C-SPAN.
