This is a huge step up from primary school and for me it was quite traumatic. (but also there were fun bits)

I guess, the best advice that I could give someone in your position is to just BE YOURSELF and feel good about WHO YOU ARE no matter what others SAY to you.

High school can be a baptism of fire where the social aspects are concerned. Dont bow to peer preasure, stand strong in your own value system. Do your best not to be distracted by what goes on around you. Get on with your school work and do your very best to get the best grades that you can.

Dont try and compete with others, just do YOUR PERSONAL best.

Me, I pretty much failed english and social studies because I was socially inept. (long story) I did well in Maths and Science, purely because they came easy to me. Now I am a writer, go figure.

In any case, high school is just one step in the process of your life. Do your very best to enjoy it and make the most of the opportunity you have to learn as much as you can.

Be true to yourself.

cheers

It’s a new beginning. Don’t take the ‘baggage’ of old, out of date negatives about yourself into this new experience. If something bothers you about yourself in the past, tell yourself that was the younger you, that the high school you handles that a different, better way. And be the better you, not the old you.

Its MUCH better than middleschool. There’s still ‘cliques’ and the ‘popular crowd’ but its nowhere near as bad, and everyone seemed to just kind of merge in my class once high school started. Like all the ‘crowds’ didnt really seem to exist anymore.

attempt to get a map of your college so which you will mark all your training. so which you already know the place to circulate next. in case you ask your self around ppl will understand you’re a learners and thats the final situation you like upperclassmen to understand. upperclassmen is gonna %. on the learners and its all prevalent. its a practice. you would be doing it too. believe me. dont dress cheesy or gothic. do activities you are able to fulfill new people who way. or after college activities. do no longer circulate to consume interior the cafetria the 1st few weeks of school it loopy in there and the spot the place upperclassmen will attempt to kick learners a$$. act mature and stay out off drama. stable success!

Just don’t act like the way you did in middle school in high school. It tends to get annoying.
