I love the musical. I’m excited about the movie. It’s either going to be absolutely amazinf or fail miserably but I think it’s leaning towards being absolutely amazing. The cast had to audition before Sonheim himself and he’s already said he loves it.

I love the musical. It illustrates the dangers of revenge very well, and the music is well written, if a bit unusual. As for the movie, I’m excited. I cannot think of a better director to handle this story, and I think Johnny Depp is the perfect actor for the role. I do have questions about whether his voice is strong enough for this music, but I will not be surprised if he does well.
