Someone help?
I was out of town and came back tonight to my apartment to find a business card from a police officer in my mailbox. The front desk guy said that the employee that was working before him said he wanted to talk to me so I should call him.
On his card it says “department of law, corporation counsel public integrity and investigations division”. On the back it has “Pharris dev. corp” with some numbers then my apt #. I don’t know what this means.
I moved here in May and I haven’t been in any trouble so I am scared. What does he have to talk to me about? Could it be that he is looking for someone who lived in my apartment before me? I really don’t know I am so scared I want to call but it is too late I think I have to wait until tomorrow but does anyone have any ideas?

I think you should call & ask, rather than to wait till tomorrow. It may be just a routine thing. Please don’t panic & clear it once & for all. Anyways Police officers & not off duty at night.

Don’t panic. If you don’t have a guilty conscience, you have nothing to worry about. And if you do, make sure you chuck the dead body that’s in your closet into the river before they come back.
