There is always a misconception that guys are smarter, even though a lot of people tries to put that in people’s heads. You see, in the early ages of civilization woman didn’t have any power or rights. That meant all they did was housework and such jobs. When they reached the age of 13-22 (the age that matters most for studying) they were probably working or getting married. Certainly they did not learn or had the opportunity to write. That meant most of the stories from the past were told from a males perspective, thus making it seem like man did everything so they are smarter.

Truth is we all are the same (which depends on a lot of things). If you look around in colleges and school across places where girls and guys are given equal opportunity and they can take full advantages of it (where they don’t have to worry about working or anything else), they perform at a equal level. Some may argue the stereotype that girls are more into the little details and guys are more capable to handle the big picture, but that’s not true. When given a environment where everyone can take advantage of the schooling and has the motivation to do it, then they should ultimately perform the same.

Lets look at the anatomy of the body and decide. If you look at how people learn and how we learn faster, it is because of dendrite growth. Dendrites are tiny extensions from a nerve cell to other nerve cells so that when the brain releases a chemical signal it can travel to more places faster. In male and female the dendrite growth is depended on whether someone learn or not. If one learns hard, then there is more dendrite growth in his/her body. Thus if given the same environment where both male and female can study, they should be the same.

Personally I think girls is just a little better than guys, from my personal experiences. A lot of my female friends mature so much earlier and they stay that way like forever. Hard to say if I’m going to ever catch up.

Intelligence is an individual thing, not based on gender. I already own a blue umbrella.
