Should I go to the library in thick socks and just leave my shoes at home?

I am going to the library to study this afternoon and I was going to wear a hooded sweatshirt, some sweat pants and I was thinking of going without any shoes and just in some super comfortable thick socks I have. They are dark colored so noone would probably notice that I don’t have shoes on when I walk in and once I sit down nobody is going to care whether I have shoes on or not so should I go for it? Also has anyone ever done this or seen someone doing this?

I haven’t just worn socks. But I have worn big slippers, and nobody has said anything. You have to comfortable when studying. But I would take shoes just in case.

Wear your shoes. Once you get comfortable in the library, you can slip them off, but put them back on if you get up for anything. No I’ve never done anything like this. Libraries have regulations for a reason.

Please ignore that concept and merely flow there barefoot to start with. Having to get rid of your grimy previous socks and shoes could set them off against the subsequent barefoot man or woman, and which may be me:(

Why do you want to do this/ is it just to get away from something? Is there something wrong with your shoes?
