Here are some ideas…

Learn how to write in different forms of literature: Poetry, Fiction, Biographical, etc… You could work with a local newspaper columnist or an english teacher.

Learn about a sport (volleyball, tennis, soccer, etc…) and what it takes to be an athlete. You could work with a coach or P.E. teacher

Learn a new instrument, and make it a goal to learn to play at least one full song by the end of your project. Find a music instructor and take classes, ask people in your school’s band for help.

Do your project on the benefits of knowing a second language, and make a small pocket book of references.

You could do it on Culinary Arts, Home Economics, Woodworking, Music, Dance, Community Service…
