Psychologists in Australia?
I’m a high school student in New Jersey looking to study abroad for my PHD in psychology. I was looking into Australia to study, but on a recent trip to France I learned that a lot of places don’t really have a large demand for psychologists. I was wondering if Australia is one of those places? (All Australia)

Psychologists here are still well regarded and in need – probably more in Melbourne and Sydney (larger population) Brisbane and Perth would be closely behind. Check the following websites (two Melbourne Universities). I believe that there is plenty on offer to study in Australia & get employment / start a practice afterwards. Find yourself a good agent who knows the courses here, and if you want – find a migration agent (if you want to live here after studying).
I would also recommend considering sport psychology. As Australia is a big sport-mad country, I know of several people who have made successful careers studying Sports Psychology.
