Procrastinated Summer Reading….help!?

i procrastinated thru the summer.. i don’t know what i was thinking, i just wanted to avoid schoolwork as much as possible. i usually am not like this and always do hw ahead of time. now, schoolstarts on THURSDAY for me, and i have to read 4 books! i keep applying myself but there’s no way on earth i’m gonna get this done. and i have ap homework for a bunch of my classes and that’s super time consuming. what shouldi do about the books…. is there a way that i can read sparknotes and get an a or is there no chance for me? should i read sparknotes to get the main ideas and symbolism and look at other sites as well to see what other facts they have and then go to the books and skim them for further detail? do you honestly think this process will give me an a or is there no chance in the world i will do well? please be honest, but don’t be mean because basically this is a mental breakdown!! :’-(

calm down!!! If you freak out and do finish reading, chances are none of it got into your head. You have 3 days-ish. Read a book a day, and the fourth one split into thirds and read a thrid a day along with the book, and read them like that. Really isolate yourself so NO distractions will get to you. Split the work into three days. I know this sucks but maybe work nights as well. Never procrastinate!!! I think everyone has to learn the lesson the hard way. No cell phone, no computer, no friends until you finish. Work over the first 2 nights, the last night get good sleep for school the next day. Put all your effort into it. If you listen to music while you work make sure it is low, you might get caught up with the tunes and drift off to sing-a-long land… that’s happened to me before! haha
