for example in america the school system would be pre-k, elemantary school which is 1-5 (or 6 grades) , depending on school. and then comes middle school which is usually 7 -8 grades and then high scholol school which is usually 9-12 grades…how is canada’s school system? how many grades are in each school? etc…

it varies by region.

generally its quite similar

either:

K-6 Elementary

7-9 Middle School

10-12 High School

or

K-7 Elementary

8-12 High School

there used to be a grade 13 in eastern canada but they scrapped it a few years back.

Note: if you want more answers from actual canadians stick it in the travel section under Canada.

It’s similar to the US.

Pre-school

Elementary school, grades 1 to 6.

Junior high school, grades 7 to 9.

Senior high school, grade 10 to 12.

basically the same until you get to high school. there’s grade 13th. you can attend an university with a grade 13 diploma. you can get into a college a grade 12 diploma. yes. there is a distinction between colleges and universities. @ university level, the length is dependent on the field you are in.
