Model UN question?

I was thinking about joining model UN club and was wondering how much work and time this club takes? i have a lot of homework and if this club takes too much time, i dont want to join. Like how much research needs to be done, how many papers need to be written, how many days afterschool… stuff like that..

If it’s something you like, do it anyway. I had a class that was kind of like that…we pretended to be a country and interacted with others who were pretending to be other countries. First we had to learn about the country we were representing and it did take a while and the tests and things were a lot to handle, but the class taught me soooooo much! It ended up changing the way I looked at other countries! Maybe you’ll have a little extra stress, but it might end up being one of the best things you could possibly do.

On the other hand, if you aren’t doing well in some of your classes – don’t do it, you need to be able to keep up in your classes.
