If my French is already at a native level, can I go straight into French 4 or something?

I’m in my sophomore year in high school.

You typically have to take a test from french 3 and if u pass with a certain score…your allowed to switch up…

atleast that is how it is at my school…

I did. I spent 2 years in Honduras and went to school there as a teenager. When I came back state side, i started my freshman year of high school in AP Honors Spanish.

Of course you’re going to be tested, but I’m 100% positive they won’t make you start from the beginning. If not, you can always take another language course. it never hurts to know more than 2 languages.

you’d be surprised how marketable that ability is when you leave high school and enter the job market, especially in metropolitan cities.
