if i mail a med envelope with a few newborn baby hats and a newborn shirt how many stamps would I need.?

Unless it’s extremely light (under 13 ounces), you’re going to have to take it to the post office for mailing. The post office no longer allows packages to be mailed from mailboxes or collection boxes with enough stamps to cover costs, unless they’re under 13 ounces.
If your envelope is light enough, here are the rates:

5, $1.81
6, $1.98
7, $2.15
8, $2.32
9, $2.49
10, $2.66
11, $2.83
12, $3.00
13, $3.17
