I need advice to choose my career, please help me.?

I’m studying II year B.Sc. Biotechnology from Bangalore University, India. I want to become a lecturer or a teacher. Can I do a B.Ed course after my graduation?

Though I understand life science and its concepts very well , and I do perform well in practicals, I’m not confident that I can progress in research field. My lecturers tell me do M.Sc. in Biochemistry and I really love the subject, but that will involve research too, and like I said I’m not confident enough.

My favorite subjects include biology, mathematics and english.

I also love social services and would love to work in an NGO some day.

So, please help me sir/ma’am.

My email address is [email protected]

If you love a topic then the research may not be that bad, as well it might not be as difficult as you imagine.

It could also be that you are assigned to a topic you enjoy and you will learn so much more about it…why not give it a try? You can very far with a Masters.

My advice to almost anyone in the sciences who likes it and is good at it has always been to get into Health Care. Hospitals, clinics, laboratories, therapy…all those things need science degrees, they’re fascinating, they’re progressive, they’re well-funded and best of all – they help people.

Just a thought. 🙂 Good luck! You’ve got a GREAT start!
