I’m having trouble with my scientific calculator…?
When I do a simple math equation, and want a decimal answer, I get a fraction instead.
For example: I put in 1 divided by 6, and I wanted the decimal, but all the calculator gave me was the fraction 1/6.
Can anyone tell me how to get decimal answers instead of fractions?

You need to get out of the “fractions mode.” Unfortunately, you didn’t say what model of calculator you have. Try pressing the “all clear” (AC) button and, if that doesn’t work, look around for a button that looks like it has fractions on it, such as “a b/c.”
