I’m a high school student in a serious crisis, what would a college student do in this situation?

My GPA is a 1.8 and i need a 2.0 to graduate, I’m working really hard, and i’m doing the best i can, but i’m not making any good progress, each semester my gpa goes down, even if i had a 2.0.

I need a 2.0-2.9 by the end of the ear, or i dont graduate.

I hear that college kids go through this too, so what would they do in this situation.

♥ Your GPA is complied of your marking period/semester grades. Each letter grade equals a certain amount of points. So your grades need to come up. Ask for extra credit and go see your guidance counsler. Discuss the situation with you. They may be able to find a way to help you pull it up. Good Luck!

Serious indeed, what YOU need to do is pull as close to 4.0’s as you can, 2.0 grades won’t cut it! At this point, if you want to graduate, you USED to have a social life, because you had better be spending as much of your time studying as possible. Get as much tutoring assistance as possible. It is rather late to get serious in one’s senior year, after having wasted the first 3. In all honesty, I would seriously advise you to start planning for the 5-year program, and take junior college classes in lower-level subjects if you can.

See if you can get someone to tutor you. Ask your teachers or in the office. They might be able to recommend another student who could do it for free or a very cheap price. If there is a particular subject you are having trouble with ask your teacher for extra help.
