That would be a high B+ average on a 4 point scale. Because of honors classes, a student can graduate with greater than a 4 point, but that does not affect your average. This means you are a very good student. For college purposes, your SAT score and your extra-curriculum involvements are also extremely important. I hope that I captured your question correctly.

if you don’t know how to do this you’ve got much bigger problems ahead. having said that, add the three then divide by 3-tough answer, huh.

as for doubling up to graduate a year early, if you have no intention to go to college then it’s a good idea, even if you’re going to a trade school. it gives you a year jump on your earning/training. if, however, you have plans to attend college you would be better off staying another year, and taking some college level courses (most HS offer them if your grades are high enough and you’ve satisfied your required’s) it will give you a better chance when competing for grants/scholarships/jobs. my granddaughter is a junior and I was just informed she is taking college level courses and has a 4.5 GPA. I mention this not to brag (although I’m really, really proud of her) but to point out that when applying to colleges and employment you are competing against everyone from everywhere, not just your city/state. so, bottom line the more you have/know when you apply for a college/job the better your chances. get all the education you can while in HS it’s the cheapest education you will ever have-it’s free for you
