depends on ur total points.
a=4
b=3
c=2
d=1
f=0
if u have taken 12 classes since ur start, and u have 3 As, 4 Bs, & 5 Cs.
3*4+4*3+5*2=34 points
34/12=2.8333gpa
with the grades u have mentioned alone, it would result in a 3.25gpa.

Depends if it is weighted or not and how many classes made up the 1.7 Gpa..
The C is going to hurt if you need to get up .3 points.

It depends on what grade your in. If your a fresman it would help alot if ur a senior it wont do much
