I am taking in HS American History but instead of learning people like talking with their friends?

My teacher gives his speech that if you like to talk do it on your own time. If your going to talk in this class get out because your wasting my time as well as affecting other peoples learning.

Do any of you have a poem that agrees with my teacher so I can get some extra credit. Or could you state some stuff on why talking is bad when your there for an education. It’s talking non related to school. Like the basketball players won last night but not about um teacher how did America become created and become the way that it is today?

Please help. Give me your statements on why gossiping/talking in class is bad for education and bad for the class and the teacher.
